Brewing Culture & Community: Our Pop-Up at Cubby’s with DJs from 5th Floor Walkup

This past weekend, we had the joy of serving 250+ people at our Vietnamese coffee cart pop-up at Cubbys. From the very first cup poured to the last drink served, the energy around the cart was incredible — a mix of curious first-timers discovering Vietnamese coffee and longtime fans returning for the familiar taste they love.

What made this event truly special wasn’t just the coffee, but the people. Friends came together, families stopped by between their weekend plans, and neighbors brought neighbors. The cart became more than a place to grab a drink — it turned into a space where stories, laughter, and community flowed just as much as the coffee.

We believe coffee is best enjoyed when shared, and seeing 250 people gather around our table proved exactly that. Whether it was someone introducing a friend to cà phê sữa đá for the first time or a family splitting a matcha cold foam, every cup represented a connection.

Events like these remind us why we started First Phin First — not just to serve authentic Vietnamese coffee, but to create moments that bring people together. And as our community continues to grow, we’re excited to keep building more opportunities to connect over coffee.
